Members of the Nkuna Traditional Council in Greater Tzaneen Municipality were sworn in yesterday at Nkowankowa Community Hall. The event was part of a provincial rollout to formalize reconstituted Traditional Councils across Limpopo following the 2024 reconstitution process.

The oath-taking ceremony aimed to strengthen traditional leadership and enhance service delivery in local communities. The Co-operative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs (CoGHSTA) department led the initiative.

The swearing-in marked a key step in formalizing the appointment of council members, reflecting the Limpopo government’s commitment to supporting traditional institutions and promoting effective governance.
